We have a range of volunteering roles to suit a variety of people.
All roles involve working with our wonderful therapy animals.
We provide on the job training and support and welcome applications from all, although volunteers must be over 14.

We do also take on placement students, those interested in doing a placement with us must complete an application form. However we are no longer able to take on short term (one or two week) placements.

ANIMAL WELFARE VOLUNTEER
MON-FRI 9.30-1.30 - currently not recruiting
SAT 10-12 - currently not recruiting

This is a position providing support feeding, cleaning and caring for our animals. It is only suitable for looking to get stuck in.

DOG CAFE VOLUNTEER - currently not recruiting
(FRI 9.30-12.30)

This is a multi-faceted role primarily involving talking to our prospective clients about what we have to offer, providing friendly conversation and keeping the space tidy.

OUTREACH VOLUNTEER
MON/FRI - Times vary

This is an intensive client-facing role supporting animal-assisted intervention visits to care homes, schools, hospitals and similar.

1:1 THERAPY VOLUNTEER - currently not recruiting
(WEDS/THURS)

This role involves helping our animal therapy staff in their one to one sessions. This might be chatting to the client, making brews, helping with the animals or helping with activities.
